Despite all of the great benefits to our health care from the Affordable Care Act, opponents have been out in full force, engaging in a campaign to try to repeal the ACA and cut billions from Medicare and Medicaid – just to score political points.

 We want to send them a clear message: Americans support the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Medicaid and want to protect our health care rights!

We, the undersigned, support the fair and appropriate implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), including a state exchange and sufficient funding for Medicaid to ensure the ongoing viability of health care providers who serve the uninsured and underinsured. We further support the simplification of Medicaid eligibility rules in order to achieve a streamlined and efficient enrollment process, maximizing enrollment of all eligible North Carolinians.
