I believe the truth of this and I’ve “liked” it on Facebook, BUT the lack of detail in this blog post means that it is totally without credibility to any intellectually honest person, and that means the post is a disservice to all of us who oppose the Republican majority in both houses.

I am sorry you are so disappointed, William, but you should not be so quick to judge our motives. We employ a lobbyist who has been making our case known to lawmakers since this bill has been introduced, and we will continue to lobby against this, and many other unfair proposals, on behalf of our members and supporters. We care very much about making our case to lawmakers in North Carolina, and this appeal is simply another way to do that.
